The Ondo State House of Assembly has suspended the lawmaker representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Mr Tomide Akinribido, over alleged gross misconduct.
The suspension of the lawmaker came barely one month after three lawmakers were suspended for a similar offence.
The House gave out the order following the recommendations of the ad hoc committee headed by Mr Samuel Aderoboye. Akinribido, a member of the Zenith Labour Party, is one of the nine lawmakers that opposed the impeachment of the state Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi. In line with the suspension order, Akinribido was ordered to drop all official documents in his care and stay away from the premises of the Assembly complex while the suspension lasted.
