An All Progressives Congress socio-political group in Ondo State, the Unity Mandate Agenda, has kicked against the reported endorsement of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu by National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Babatope Abisola, in a press statement issued in Akure alleged that Akeredolu bribed the National Working Committee of the APC.He also accused Senator Ajayi Boroffice of creating the template of crisis in order for him to either allow Akeredolu go for another term or to install a puppet governor.
“However, we shall continue to pursue our legitimate cause to ensure our widely respected candidate, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, is nominated and subsequently elected as the next governor of Ondo State come October.”
