Following the slow pace of rehabilitation work on Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan road, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi has appealed to Governors Ademola Adeleke and Seyi Makinde to assist the contractor toward timely completion of the project.

Speaking after inspection of some parts of the road including Egberi River bridge in Oyo State, he commended Governor Makinde for reviewing the initial plan to build culvert to a bridge. “This bridge was not part of the plan, it was culvert that was designed for this place before until last year December when it was discovered that bridge is required for this place.
