Eighteen months after he disrobed Chief Ayiri Emami as the Ologbotsere of Warri, the Olu of Warri, His Majesty, Ogiamé Atuwatse III, has installed his
successor. He is Chief Oma Eyewuoma. The event was held on Sunday and was well attended by prominent indigenes of Itsekiri.
The ceremony which took place at the palace of the Olu had in attendance palace chiefs, the immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, Mr Ayiri Emami and other notable sons and daughters of Warri Kingdom. The Aghofen Hall was filled to capacity as everyone was curious about the agenda of the meeting.
