Okura state will be created, Kogi lawmaker blasts critics

Abdullahi Ibrahim, the lawmaker representing Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives has slammed those against the proposed creation of Okura state from Kogi State.

Describing those against the creation of Okura State as people who lack understanding, the lawmaker said the new state would be created from parts of Kogi. He further described the bill which was submitted on the floor of the House of Representatives as one of his most celebrated bill and that he is committed to achieving the aim of Okura State creation.
