A resident of Sangana community in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has raised an alarm that the community has been thrown into panic as personnel of the Nigerian military stormed the community in a show of force.
According to him, the military personnel did not meet with community leaders to discuss their reason for being there, creating panic and apprehension in the community. “The military is looking for who to kill and tag names. My community, which is battling with the Atlantic Ocean surge, is now put in panic mode. My community is panicking right now.
“They did not see anyone like that and that has become a threat to us now. People are beginning to have high blood pressure. There is a problem on the ground now. Sangana as a whole does not have any issue with anybody, but we are so surprised how military men just came to attack the community.
