Akinsanya then warned commercial bus drivers not to compound the problems created by the proscription.The Chief Executive Officer of MAX, Bamiduro, during a press briefing on the company’s premises, said the government’s action was a breach of trust. “We had an understanding that we would be regulated and licensed in due time. These statements were made by government officials. But we believe that things can still be repaired,” Bamiduro added.
The law also prohibits carrying of a pregnant woman, a child below the age of 12 years and an adult with a baby or a heavy/large load placed on the head or which obstructs normal sitting on the motorcycle.for their opnion on the matter asked for time to read the law to be able to give informed opinions about it.
