The apex Igbo group noted that the administration in Abia through its well defined economic blueprints have changed the narratives of governance since after the creation of the state by the Retired Major General Ibrahim Badamosi Babaginda’s military administration.
The Pan Igbo organization further pointed out that the government has been able to eradicate youth, men and women restiveness, unemployment, hunger through its consistence in the promotion of small and medium scale and business enterprise, adding that these had equally ensured gradual and maximum amelioration of acts of criminalities associated with the people.
It stated the people of Abia have witnessed relative peace, courtesy of the state government’s collaborative supports with the security agencies in the area of regular provision of crime fighting logistics in tackling any rearing crime, lauding Ikpeazu for prioritizing the security of lives and properties of the citizens.
While evaluating the progress of Abia state under past and present administrations as it mark her creation, Ohanaeze described Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as best servant Governor that had ever ruled the state with unblemished track record since after its creation.
