A factional President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Chidi Ibeh, has described the endorsement of elder statesman, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu,
Ibeh, who is a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Imo, stated this while addressing newsmen in Owerri, on Friday.
He warned those endorsing Iwuanyanwu for the position to desist from preempting the court in what he described as a “sub-judicial” matter but to allow the court to decide who the organisation’s rightful leader should be. Speaking on the upcoming governorship election in Imo, Ibeh said that it was time for Imo East senatorial district to produce a governor, having been denied the office for a long time.
