Ogun vows to prosecute face mask order violators

The Ogun State Police Command has vowed that anybody moving around the state without a face mask will be arrested and dealt with in accordance with the law.

The government had ordered that residents must wear face masks at public places while cab drivers and motorcycles riders had been asked to prune the number of their passengers to three and one respectively.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, gave the warning in a statement on Thursday. The PPRO noted that, some commercial drivers and motorcycle riders were still engaging in overloading their vehicles with passengers.
