The Ogun State Government has urged workers in the state to embrace the health insurance scheme of the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration.
A statement signed on Wednesday by the Press Officer, Office of the Head of Service, Passover Adeshina, said the government’s health insurance scheme had a lot of benefits to support the workers’ health needs.
According to the statement, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi, who gave the appeal while declaring open the 2023 Public Service Week celebration, said the government was committed to the healthy living of its workforce. Talabi was quoted as saying, “We are talking about our health. A lot of us take so many things for granted. I want to share the health insurance scheme with you and the labour leaders have assured us to meet with the agency in charge of the scheme to iron things out.
