The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS), have given the President Muhammadu

Buhari-led Federal Government a 14-day ultimatum to rehabilitate the highway linking Abeokuta with Sango-Ota and Lagos State.

According to them, the Federal Government has been given a 14-day ultimatum to commence reconstruction of the road, failure which they would shut down the road in a massive protest. They recalled that two students of the D.S. Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic were recently kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the same road.

“We are saddened by the insensitivity and wickedness of the Federal Government to subject residents of the State to untold hardships by not fixing the deplorable Lagos-Sango-Abeokuta road.
