Ogun new CP, Ajogun meets Gov Abiodun, talks tough
Ajogun is replacing Kenneth Ebrimson, who just retired from the Nigeria Police Force on Thursday.
Abiodun applauded the retiring Police Commissioner, Ebrimson for his efforts at stemming the tide of crimes and criminality in the State. Gov Abiodun commended the retired Police Commissioner and other security chiefs in the state for rising to the occasion, charging Ajogun to take over from where he stopped.
Earlier, Ajogun warned that the police under his watch would take the battle to the den of kidnappers, threatening to deal decisively with armed robbers, cultists, drug dealers, sea pirates, and human traffickers.He said his war mantra will be ‘criminal, here are your own coins’, saying the police in Ogun will pay criminals back in their own coins should they dare their resolve and determination.
