Ogun discharges 12 COVID-19 patients, confirms 14 new cases
This, DAILY POST learnt, was after the patients tested negative for the novel coronavirus.As of Friday morning, the state has a total of 1,146 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 777 of which have recovered, it was gathered.
Ogun State government informed the number of fatalities remains 22, adding that 347 active cases are still being managed. “Ogun State as at 16th July, 2020, had a total of 347 active COVID-19 cases it was managing, as it recorded 14 new cases.“The new cases bring to 1146, the total number of cases so far confirmed in the State, even as 12 cases were discharged, having recovered from the virus. The number of all cases discharged in total now stands at 777.
“Altogether, the related deaths recorded remain at 22, as health authorities advise the public to adhere to recommended preventive measures,” the state said this on its social media platforms.
