Speaking with our correspondent, the community head of Bode-Olude, Jimoh Sanyaolu, noted that the road had been in a deplorable state for several years which has subjected the community to hardship, damaged their vehicles and forced people to leave the community. “As you can see my vehicle is parked here. It is over three months that I used it because anytime I drove it out, the cost of repairing the damage that will befall it will be more than going through a commercial motorcycle,” Sanyaolu said.
