In continuation of her title-winning streak, Odusanya white-washed Anu Anjuwon 4-0 to retain her title in the female category, while Adegoke, who stopped the defending champion, Rilwan Akanbi in the semi final, eventually took the male class title after beating former champion, 4-2 .“I am very grateful to God for winning this tournament for a record eighth time. It is not by my power and I was not even feeling fine playing in this year’s tournament.
To Adegoke, winner of the male category: “I was supposed to play in the final last year, but I couldn’t. So, I’m really excited to win my first senior title at the Molade Okoya-Thomas championship this year.
