The Nation Newspaper Oborevwori, Dafinone, others mourn ex-minister Gbagi
, Delta Central Senator Ede Dafinone, and the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party in last year’s general election, Prince Adewole Adebayo, have condoled the family of a former Minister of Education , Chief Kenneth Gbagi.In a condolence message yesterday in Asaba, the Delta State capital, by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Gbagi’s demise as tragic, unfortunate and heart-wrenching.
“The news of his death came to me as a terrible shock and my heart-felt condolences go to his family, the people of Oginibo and the members of the Social Democratic Party,” he said. “Throughout his life, Gbagi exhibited unwavering dedication and exemplary leadership in various spheres, leaving an indelible mark on our society.Shettima departs for US to attend 2024 US-Africa Business Summit
Adebayo also described the late politician as a “man of courage and energy who knew how to create and build, whose mind was an open book and his heart too large to exclude anyone”.
