Former lawmaker and social critic, Shehu Sani has advised Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, candidate in the February 25 presidential election, to stop
Sani warned that Obi might kill what he described as the “libido of his movement”, if he continues to denounce or apologize on their behalf.Recall that the former Anambra State governor cried out on Wednesday, saying people now masquerade as Obidients to abuse and insult eminent personalities in the country.
Obi exonerated his supporters, popularly known as “Obidients”, from being behind raining of insults on prominent Nigerians, maintaining that they are law-abiding citizens. However, Sani said Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari never apologized for what their supporters say or do.
He wrote, “Asiwaju, Atiku & Buhari never denounce or apologise for whatever their supporters say or do. Peter keeps apologising & dissociating. If you keep moving on this apologetic path, you will kill the libido of your movement. You sparked a fire, embrace the inferno with courage.”
