“At the centre of discussion during each of these visits was the state of the nation and how to reduce the suffering of all Nigerians irrespective of class and location,” the statement explained. It added that the desperate condition of the downtrodden in the country was particularly highlighted. The development comes on the heel of claims by Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, that Obi was frustrated out of the opposition party by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, because of the latter’s political ambition.
