The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has appointed Joseph Eboigbe as the new Secretary to the Edo State Government following the resignation of Osarodion Ogie.
In a statement, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie, said the governor accepted the resignation after Ogie stepped down from his position to pursue his ambition to run as the Deputy Governor of Edo State.
He said Eboigbe served as Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Economic Planning and later as Commissioner for Finance. The Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria has called on state governments to enact building control laws in their respective states to enhance the building sector. The Ondo State government will officially install Oba Oladele Fredrick Akinmoye as the new Orungberuwa of Ode-Erinje in the Okitipupa Local Council today.
