Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, after voting, declined commenting on the election and other issues. Journalists accosted Obasanjo, who voted at 10.03, but unlike him, he simply said, “no comment”. All efforts to get him to speak did not yield result.
Daniel, speaking after voting at Ward 12 Unit 7, Isote, Sagamu Local Government, appealed to candidates to promote peace, even if defeated. Ogun State All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun commended voters for being peaceful, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission to be sincere and ensure that the process is democratic.
