National Youth Service Corps, in conjunction with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development are set to organized a 10 million man March against corruption in the country on Friday.
Ayuba maintained the exercise will go a long way in showing the long term relationship that exists between EFCC, NYSC and other agencies. “National Youth Service Corps in recognition of the fight toward reducing corruption being in the hearts of the sustainable development goals has as one of its Community Development Service programme an EFCC group through which corps members sensitize members of the public on the need to do away with all forms of corruption because its disproportionate impact on the poor and most vulnerable individuals in the community.” She said.
“These organizations have a stake, whether it is monitoring constituency projects, reporting on abandoned projects or abuse of office by political actors at the state and local government levels,” he said.
