The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Enugu Correspondents’ Chapel, on Thursday, elected new members to pilot its affairs for the next three years.
Others elected were Ignatius Okpara of African Examiner, Vice Chairman, Emma Ugwueze of DAILY POST as Secretary, Moses Oyediran of Daily Times, Assistant Secretary, Patience Ogbodo of Daily Independent, Treasurer and Nnamdi Mbawike of Leadership Newspaper as Financial Secretary. The election was supervised by the State Council of the Union, led by the chairman, Comrade Rex Arum and the Secretary, Comrade Amaka
He said for any organization to thrive “there must be a clear agenda and a push towards addressing the welfare of members.”
