The National Telecommunications Commission announced an update regarding deactivated SIM cards after the looming deadline.
They reiterated that this will be the final chance for SIM card owners to follow the law and keep their numbers. Again the Government highly recommends avoiding the unnecessary hassles deactivation of SIM Cards may bring and doing your part diligently. Upon expiration of the deadline, assuming there is no extension under the law and IRR, the SIMs will be automatically deactivated. However, the law provided a way to reactivate these SIMs within five days of the automatic deactivation. You can have the SIM reactivated, Salvahan continued
