The NT has recorded its 21st COVID-related death — a woman from Alice Springs aged in her 80s. There are now 98 COVID-19 patients in NT hospitals and the territory has recorded 632 new cases.
The woman had underlying health conditions and died at Alice Springs Hospital, the NT government said in a statement.The number of COVID-19 patients in NT hospitals has dropped to 98, down from 101 on Friday. Seven patients are in intensive care.
There were 632 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the NT in the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday.There were 409 cases recorded in the Top End region, 93 in Central Australia, 24 in East Arnhem, 29 in the Big Rivers region, and 35 in the Barkly region.
