NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has unveiled changes to the state's roadmap following his first crisis cabinet meeting since being elected as Premier.
Newly appointed Premier Dominic Perrottet has unveiled changes to the state's roadmap out of lockdown, which will allow fully vaccinated adults to enjoy even more freedoms.
"This is not over, but to get to 70 per cent is incredibly successful for everybody right across New South Wales. We're going to get to 80 per cent very, very shortly as well." Once the state hits 80 per cent double dose vaccination rate, projected to be October 25, masks will no longer be required in office buildings and nightclubs will be permitted to reopen for seated drinking only.Mr Perrottet has flagged an increase in the cap for weddings and funerals to 100 people .
"And I know personally, and many people, almost everyone across the state over the last 12 to 18 months would have gone through this very difficult time."Indoor swimming pools will be open from Monday October 11 for rehabilitation, children's swimming lessons, organised lap swimming and squad training.As of Monday October 11, up to 10 visitors will be allowed in a home . There will be a lift on the cap of outdoor gatherings to 30 people .
