An illegal petroleum products dump in the Federal Capital Territory has been uncovered and sealed by the operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil

Olusola Odumosu, spokesman of NSCDC on Sunday, confirmed the incident in a post on his agency’s Facebook post.

Odumosu, in the post, explained that the discovery and sealing of the illegal oil dump was made by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad. According to the post, “over 54,000 liters of suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated Automotive Gas Oil, one pumping machine, one generator, two surface tanks containing suspected adulterated and illegally refined AGO were recovered.”

The post added two empty surface tanks, four empty trucks, one truck containing suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated AGO, two drums of AGO, two different waybills, two different vehicle plates, one pump action, one dane-gun and six cartridges were recovered.
