The Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Saturday expressed its readiness to clamp down on unregistered and
NSCDC State Commandant Ilelaboye Oyejide said this in his office while inaugurating a taskforce to check the activities of private security guards across the state, declaring that Bauchi will no longer be a safe haven for the operation of illegal security guards.
“The illegal private guard operators, illegal miners, and Sara-Suka that have become a menace and constitute a nuisance to the state will be dealt with thoroughly. He admonished the members of the taskforce, made up of NSCDC personnel and registered private guard operators in the state, to discharge their duties with a high sense of professionalism.
