The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi has charged all Field Commanders to exhibit a high level of professionalism while carrying out their statutory duties.
CSC Babawale Zaid Afolabi, National PRO, NSCDC National Headquarters, Abuja, in a statement, said CG Audi emphasized in Abuja that his administration will not tolerate any conduct that denigrates the ethical Values and Corps' Standard Operating Procedures . He said all formations would be closely monitored and whoever violates the rules of engagement would be sanctioned and dealt with severely.
He further encouraged them to demonstrate the highest form of civility and respect for the fundamental human rights of citizens, especially when confronted with tough situations. The NSCDC helmsman restated his administration's resolve to leverage on Personnel training and retraining towards enhancing the ability of the operatives to effectively defend the statutory mandate of the agency.
