Rivers United striker Lukman Adefemi has expressed his team’s readiness to successfully defend the Nigeria Premier Football League title.Both teams are currently tied on eight points, with Enyimba having a better goal difference.“Our target is to win the title again,” he told DAILY POST in Lagos.
“We know Enyimba very well as they have done well in this playoff, and they are also a good and free-scoring side. “As we have already shown in the past to adhere to our tactics and plan. We are hoping to do the same in achieving our target.” The winner and runners-up will compete in the CAF Champions League, while the third-place team will play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
