NPFL: Pillars Crush Ifeanyi Ubah in Kano - THISDAYLIVE via thisdaylive
Kano Pillars dealt a heavy blow on FC IfeanyiUbah’s title ambition yesterday when the Sai Masu Gida scored three un replied goals against the Anambra Warriors in a rescheduled Match-day 12 clash in Kano.
Rangers and Lobi Stars are third and fourth, while Remo Stars and Niger Tornadoes are second and last from the bottom of the table. The Remo boys led by impressive Victor Mbaoma ably assisted by Solomon John and Dare Shokunbi from the flanks were a constant threat to Rangers back line anchored around Isiaka Oladuntoye and Akpos Adubi who worked extra hard to snuff out dangers.
As the game approached its climax, it became nervy for the visitors as the host recorded three goal scoring opportunities in quick successions but it all went over the bar to hand Rangers a precious point on the road.
