Newly signed Doma United striker Charlse Chibuke, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has vowed to score more goals after he found the back of the net in his debut match for the Savannah Tigers in the Nigeria Professional Football League,Chibuke, who met Usman Musa’s free-kick to put Doma ahead in the 38th minute of the home game against Sunshine Stars on Sunday, looks forward to scoring more goals for the Tigers.
“I’m very excited to have scored the first goal for this great club and I can’t wait to do more in order to help the club achieve its target. I really can’t wait to score more. That goal was for God and I thank Him for always being there when I need him the most,” he said. The striker, who is already being compared to Napoli man, Osimhen, because of their similar physique and style of play, added that his first target for the season was to help the team succeed by scoring more and then topping the goals scorers chart at the end of the season.
“I always have a target, but my first target for this season is to help Doma United succeed. My work is to score goals and I will work hard to do that in order to help the team,” Chibuke said.
