Abia Warriors defender, Prince Okorie, has rallied his teammates ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday seven fixture against Katsina United. The Umuahia club lost 2-1 to Sunshine Stars in midweek. Okorie admitted that the players were disappointed with the result.
'We all know that the result is really disappointing and frustrating, but we have to make sure it’s not damaging,' he told Lodgexpress. '“It was a hard one for us to take. We played really, really well in the game and had so many good games. Sunshine defeat was hard for us.
We’re going to make sure it doesn’t happen again. “I think it’s now up to each and every one of us to stick together. It’s easy to stick together when we’re winning and doing well, so we’ll stick together and fight to win against Katsina United.' Abia Warriors will host Katsina United at the Umuahia Township stadium on Sunday.
