Monday Odigie’s side are two games away from equaling the longest unbeaten streak in the NPFL held by Akwa United.In Maiduguri, Enyimba recorded the only away win of the day defeating El-Kanemi Warriors 1-0.
The People’s Elephant moved to second position on the Group A table and need just a win from the remaining two games to guarantee a place in the Super Six. El-Kanemi Warriors remain at the bottom of the log and now need to win their remaining two games to escape relegation. Group B leaders, Lobi Stars ended their two-game winless streak by claiming a 1-0 victory against Niger Tornadoes in Jos.
