Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George has attributed his team's goalless draw against Katsina United to harsh weather condition Finidi believes his team deserved more from the game. He, however, acknowledged that the clash against Katsina United at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium, Katsina was difficult. 'It was a good game, despite the very hot weather. If you look at the first half, we deserved to score at least two goals,' Finidi told Rivers United media.
'Though we didn't take our chances, and in the second half, they pushed hard, but we still had one moment – Kabir's shot, which could have resulted in a goal. 'It was more pressure on us but we contained them, having one chance to score in the second half that didn't materialize. Considering both halves, I'd say we deserved to win, but football being what it is, especially in an away match, I think one point is well-deserved.
