Play was suspended afterward with the scoreline still at 0-0. Elsewhere, Remo Stars suffered a big setback in their title aspirations after they went down to a 3-2 defeat against Lobi Stars in Lafia. Christian Izuchukwu gave the home team the lead in the sixth minute, while Chinedu Chukwu added the second seven minutes before the break. The visitors reduced the lead through Sikiru Alimi two minutes before the break.
