Nigeria Professional Football League clubs have started preparations for the 2020/21 season, which has been tentatively fixed for September/October.
The League Management Company announced that the new season would start September ending or beginning of October, depending on approval from the government due to COVID-19.
The Jos-based Plateau have secured the services of Moses Effiong from Dakkada FC, Bashir Andulrahman from Enyimba and former U-20 defender Aliu Salawudeen. Another club that has been active in the transfer market is Kwara United, who signed former Eagles goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba, who returned to the country from Israel. Michael Ohanu , Jide Fatokun and Afeez Nosiru , also joined Kwara.
