Managing director, NPA, Hadiza Bala Usman, who spoke at the opening of a workshop for journalists organised in collaboration with Premium Times Services, in Lagos, yesterday, said the reforms would enhance ports operations and make them more competitive. She added that the transformation is now making Nigerian ports to be “attractive before investors for national growth and development,”
She applauded the unalloyed support of the media which has helped the authority to record tremendous progress at all fronts at ensuring that the sector competes favourably within Sub-Saharan Africa, Gulf of Guinea and the international community.
