Come Saturday, September 7, 2019, some celebrities will engage in a cooking competition at the Johnson Jakande Tinubu Garden, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The competition will take place as the Atinuke Cancer Foundation holds another round of cancer awareness programme, tagged ‘Let’s Kill It’. The event which begins at 7am will feature a free health check, a low tempo aerobics session, a 5km fitness walk challenge and a cooking competition among Nollywood stars. There will also be a short lecture and a meet and greet with attending celebrities.
The free health check includes a cervical cancer check, breast examination, HIV test, Prostate-Specific Antigen check, blood sugar check and blood pressure check.
Previous editions of the awareness programme have been held at Surulere, Epe, Ogudu, Lagos East, Lagos Island, all in Lagos. And celebrities including Charly Boy, Desmond Elliot, Monalisa Chinda, Ik Ogbonna, Uche Jombo, Pasuma, Moyo Lawal, Alexx Ekubo and comedian Iya Mufu have lent their celebrity status to support previous events.
