No Life Lost In Abuja Air Force Base Inferno, Says NAF - Latest News

The director of public relations and information, Air Cdre Ayodele Famuyiwa, made the assertion in a statement the Service issued yesterday.

Famuyiwa said the fire has been contained while investigation has been initiated to unravel the immediate and remote causes of the incident. He said the incident involving a jet A-1 fuel dump located on the NAF was reported at about 8am in the morning, adding that though located on the NAF Base, the fuel facility is owned and operated by Messer Geometrics Synergy Services Ltd and not the Nigerian Air Force.

The statement reads, “A fire incident involving a Jet A-1 fuel dump located on the Nigerian Air Force Base, Bill Clinton Drive, Abuja was reported at about 0800 hours today, Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
