The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has extended an invitation to former President Olusegun Obasanjo for a tour of the Port Harcourt Refinery. NNPCL, in a statement on Thursday, explained that the invitation is aimed at allowing Obasanjo to verify the operational status of the oil processing facility in Rivers State.
DAILY POST reports that the ex-president, in an interview with Channels Television, had questioned the operational capacity of the Port Harcourt refinery, which recently resumed operations. However, NNPCL highlighted its achievements and encouraged Obasanjo to visit the facility. “We extend an invitation to our esteemed former president to join us in this historic journey.
