The Court of Appeal has sought Supreme Court’s expeditious hearing in the Federal Government’s appeal against its judgment that discharged Nnamdi Kanu from the terrorism charges brought against him by the Federal reserve.
The Appellate Court in a ruling on Friday in Abuja also ordered that counsel for the parties, are to settle the records immediately for transmission to the Supreme Court as ordered herein. Justice Tsamani upheld the Federal Government application and ordered that the execution of the judgment be put on hold.
Justice Tsanami in the briefing ruling held that the counter affidavit filed against the Federal Government application by Kanu’s legal team was misleading.
