The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has issued a disclaimer notifying the public that it had not initiated any recruitment exercise.
The statement reads,” Our attention has been drawn to an online recruitment site that published an ongoing recruitment exercise credited to Nigerian Meteorological Agency.
“The Management is using this medium to issue a disclaimer and to inform the public that NiMet has not embarked on any recruitment exercise. “If or when such an exercise will be carried out, it will be done through the right channel and the public will be duly informed through our social media handles. NiMet is also using this medium to advise unsuspecting jobseekers and indeed public to be wary and not fall prey to scammers. If in doubt they can contact our office for clarification,” it added.All rights reserved.
