The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted dust haze from Friday to Sunday across the country.
NiMet’s weather outlook released on Thursday in Abuja anticipated dust haze with localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000m over the northern states throughout.
“Cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine are expected over the inland states of the south and the coastal areas in the morning with chances of thunderstorms over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states,” it said. “Sunny skies with few cloud patches are anticipated over the North Central region during the morning hours. Later in the day, there are chances of localized thunderstorms over parts of Nasarawa, Kogi, Kwara and Benue.
