The Minister of State for Education, Mr Emeka Nwajiuba, has said Nigerians on scholarships abroad have been paid through their various embassies.
ia reported that Nwajiuba said this at the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 daily news briefing on Monday in Abuja.
“The money was paid this afternoon by the Central Bank of Nigeria; it has finished processing all the money and forward to appropriate countries,” he said. NAN reports that a concerned parent whose daughter was on Federal Government scholarship in Russia had raised the alarm over non-payment of her daughter’s money since January.
