Professor Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), has resigned from his position voluntarily. The former NUC boss resigned on Monday, while disclosing in an interview with Punch that his next move was to return back the Bayero University Kano to continue his job as a lecturer. Rasheed was chosen as NUC chairman seven years ago, during the tenure of Adamu Adamu, the former minister of education.
