Alhaji Nafi'u Yahaya, the alleged leader of a kidnapping gang responsible for abducting and killing family members of the Emir of Mutum Biyu last year, has been arrested by Nigerian troops. Yahaya, who was previously the accountant for Mutum Biyu Emirate palace, confessed to the crime during an interrogation captured in a video.

Nigeria n troops have arrested one Alhaji Nafi'u Yahaya, who is alleged to have led a gang of kidnappers to abduct and subsequently killed some family members of the Emir of Mutum Biyu, Taraba State , His Royal Highness, Alhaji Justice Sani Sulaiman Duna last year.

The arrest of Yahaya was confirmed in a post by a security expert cum Conflict and Crisis Journalist in the Northwest region of Nigeria, Bakatsine, on Saturday morning. According to Bakatsine, Yahaya was the former accountant of Mutum Biyu Emirate palace in Gassol LGA, Taraba State.
