A number of Nigerian players are gearing up for the return of competitive football in Belgium after five months of inactivity due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Belgian Pro League, which was cancelled on April 2 with Club Brugge declared champions, resumes on Saturday .
Brigge’s Okereke and Dennis will be the first to taste action when they welcome Sporting Charleroi to the Jan Breydel Stadium today. The Nigerians have been in superb form for the club in pre-season and will be hoping to start the new season on a high.
