Human rights and pro-democracy group, Take-It-Back Movement (TIB) has raised the alarm over frequent occurrence of extortion and brutality cases by personnel of the Nigeria Police Force. The group, who mentioned this in a tweet on Tuesday, narrated how some personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State command, Adeniji Adele division extorted N40,000 from some residents at gunpoint. The TIB noted that the six youths were on their way to Elegushi area when they were accosted by the policemen and made to part with the money for no just reason.
