Some Nigerians have taken to social media to demand the arrest and prosecution of a man seen in a viral video feeding a baby with a smoking substance suspected to be a cigarette. In the video seen by SaharaReporters, the yet-to-be-identified man was seen sharing the smoking substance with the infant. A Twitter user, president Ikemba while sharing the video said, “When and how did we get here as a society? Egbon, @Princemoye1 please we need this guy prosecuted and the accomplice too.

Another user, @Ezigbo_mmadu aduvsed Nigerians security operative to post his image and declared him wanted to facilitate his arrest.

Reacting to the development, the Nigerian Police Force Spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi related the issue to moral decadence in Nigeria. “Until we arrest them, we won't know what actually happened. The mother might not be there. I gave an analogy that it might be the mother's sister who even took the baby to visit her boyfriend.
